Oct 2023 - Call for Nominations

The Gear Research Institute is managed by a twelve (12) member Board of Trustees. As per the Institute’s by-laws, there are two non-voting members from ARL Penn State (the Materials and Manufacturing Office Head and GRI Managing Director), three members to the Board are nominated by the AGMA, three by the ASME and four members are elected by the members of GRI. The board members elected by the GRI have a three year term.

At the end of 2023, there will be one GRI elected position up for renewal on the Board.  Nominations are being sought at this time to fill the vacant position. If more than one nomination is received (and accepted) an election will be necessary.  All corporate members, individual members and sponsors can make a nomination and cast one vote per company should an election be necessary.All nominations must be made via email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
